Asheville public restroom

Bringing back the nostalgia in Tropical Gardens‘ restroom.

Asheville’s Tropical Gardens mini golf has operated in Asheville for over twenty years, but it harks back to an even earlier era, when family life was simpler, much like the black and white parts of the film Pleasantville. These restrooms have little in the way of decor, but that’s okay, since you won’t want more than a quick break from the fun of mini-golf, batting cages, and sno-cones. They’ll get the job done.  Decor = 3

The kind folks at Tropical Gardens have provided antibacterial soap, which is a good thing since there is no telling whose hands have been on those putters and brightly colored golf balls.  Cleanliness = 5

We can’t speak to the efficiency of the old-style hand dryers in the women’s room at Tropical Gardens, but we did enjoy seeing the heating element inside turn red-hot, so we know it’s doing something.  Amenities = 4
